Booking a call
Calls are booked on Cal.com. You give your name, email and anything you choose to tell us about the job. We keep a record of the booking with our sales notes.
Calls
With your permission, we record calls on Zoom using Fathom and keep the transcript with our notes. You can ask us not to record, or to delete a recording, at any time.
Email from us
We write to people at businesses about work we could do for them. We use business contact details only: an address the business publishes, its general inbox, or its usual address format. We keep the company's name, the person's name, role and business email, and notes of our conversations.
To stop hearing from us, reply "unsubscribe" or write to hello@tynesidelabs.ca. We take you off our list for good.
Why we use it, and for how long
We use these details only to talk to you about our work, and we keep them while that conversation is useful, or until you ask us to delete them. For people in the UK and the EU, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in contacting businesses about services relevant to them; you can object at any time.
Where it is kept
With the services named above and in our own records, in Canada, the United States and Switzerland (our email). We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
Your data in a pilot
You stay responsible for your customers' information under Canadian privacy law. Here is what we do to support that.
We sign a confidentiality agreement, yours or ours, before you share anything.
Before we start, we tell you in writing where your data is stored and processed, including whether any of it leaves Canada, which AI service reads it, and how long that service keeps it.
We use AI services whose terms say they do not train on your data.
We can work from copies with names and account numbers removed.
When the pilot ends, we delete our copies of your examples and confirm it in writing.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to hello@tynesidelabs.ca and we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
